Problem:

When Int. press ration >1.0, does this mean that the Flange failed?

Solution:

A new enhancement was added to the program, calculate bolt tensile stress ratio due to internal pressure and external loadings (see AutoPIPE help for details)

This calculation is using ASME section VIII Div.2 Eq. 4.16.7 divided by allowable stress for the bolt evaluated at design temperature. This is a requirement for Div 2 analysis only, however if you are running a Div 1 analysis. The help goes on to mention:

"Program is also considering same approach for calculating bolt tensile stress for ASME section VIII Div.1 and ASME section III Appendix XI"

As of Dec 2019, there is no code required bolt stress calculation for Div 1 or  section III Appendix XI, therefore in lieu of using nothing this Div 2 calculation was used.

In a future version of this report, a note may be added to specifically states that this ratio is a Div 2 requirement only.
