How to build an external section library for common use? Such as format etc. I searched through out manuals but no finding.

Solution

You can create user defined section libraries within the Datagen, under the 'Static' File Type the option is called 'Section Library File'.

After defining the File units, Select Red box below to insert input line.

This will give you all the input needed to create a user-defined database; you can add sections from other section libraries if desired.

Once you have created your own section library make sure to save it as .sec and then you just have to select it in the analysis generator.

You need to ensure that the dimensions of the user defined sections are in "in" unit.
