Community Question:

How to specify SCF in pile joints below mudline, to check within the FATIGUE Module and determine the life of this

Answer

When you run a wave response Analysis, as a result, you will get an OCI file that will be an Equivalent Static File, using this .oci you need to run a Static with Non-linear Foundation Analysis to create the pile common solution file (CSF).

automatically SACS will create 100 segments in each pile, this means that each pile will create 101 joints for 100 segments, if the pile length is 100m, each segment will be 1m long

If you have 12 piles and, if you use the default segmentation of SACS (100 segments per pile), the joint results will be similar to the next picture.

if there is a  location in which you would like to override SCF, you can define it in your ftg.inp using the card JNTSEL and JNTSCF
