How can I install clean MAXSURF version?
In order to install clean version of MAXSURF, the software has to be uninstalled completely, before installation of new MAXSURF.
1. Check if no MAXSURF window is opened.
2. Go to C:\Program Files\Bentley\Offshore and check if no models are saved in this location. If yes, copy the file and save it in any other local drive.
3. Go to Control panel | Programs and Features.
4. Find MAXSURF and uninstall.
5. Go to the registry editor Run and open Regedit. Search for any registry files related to MAXSURF and delete all of them.
6. Go to C:\Program Files\Bentley\Offshore to check if MAXSURF folder is deleted. If no, delete it.
7. Download MAXSURF installer and run it as administrator.
8. Complete the installation and restart your computer.
