Problem:

The following error message appears when opening a model in AutoPIPE:

---------------------------
Error
---------------------------
E963-8: Non-ascii characters or "?" are not permitted in name
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

Why and how to avoid it?

Solution:

As the message states the current model file name has a "Non-ascii character(s)" in the file name. rename the file and supporting files as needed to remove all Non-ascii characters.

This is typical when a model is created in one version of the program that was localized for Polish language and then tried to open the same model in version of program localized for English language. English version does understand some filename characters. Thus the message is displayed requiring a file name change.

After updating file name, then try and open with AutoPIPE.
