The following occurred when running an AutoPIPE Dynamic analysis:
---------------------------
Error
---------------------------
E962-2: File write error, check disk space error
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
Why does this occur and what can be done to avoid it in the future?
The error is occurring because the system is not able to allocate as much memory requested by the program and it exceeds the limit imposed by the OS.
At this time, AutoPIPE v11.04.00.10 and lower, has a 2 GB memory limit. If the error message above appears while analyzing a model with multiple dynamic analysis consider the following:
a. For computer systems running less than 2 gigs of memory allocation for AutoPIPE, upgrade your system with more memory (2 gigs min) and change the OS setting to allocate more memory usage by the program when requested.
b. For model with Dynamic Time history analysis, recommend to reduce the duration of the Time History analysis.
c. For models with multiple Dynamic analysis, recommend analyzing only 1 Dynamic analysis at a time.
d. Create a new folder on the desktop, only copy AutoPIPE DAT file to this new folder. Try to open the model from this new folder location and review the entire model to be correct . Save as a new model to any location.
The following has been logged for future inclusion into AutoPIPE:
TFS-E160324 - Add support to be able to consume more memory required for Time History analysis
