Problem:

After conducting analysis I got error:

---------------------------
Error
---------------------------
E90-21:   Analysis results do not exist
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

What can be the reason?

Solution:

Known issue #1:

Could this be a case that your model was created/analyzed in older version of AutoPIPE and you are now reviewing it in a newer version of the application?

There was a known issue – if a model was analyzed in a previous version and results existed, then if the same model was opened in a newer version of AutoPIPE and tried to access results without analyzing the model first the error would be displayed. This locks some of the result file(s). After this even if you select delete results and analyze again you will still see the same error on all result options (ex. Results>Grids, Results> displacement, ec..) except the Results>Output report.

Avoidance:

There are 4 different avoidance that have all worked for various models. You may need to try more than 1 solution below for your model to be fixed, save the original model in a safe location and perform each of the following avoidance on a folder containing a copy of the original model files:

Avoidance #1:

1. With your model opened in AutoPIPE, select Analyze> All, the program runs the analysis in the background.

2. Open the Combinations dialog screen and select the Load Cases tab:

3. Confirm that "Ignore for Def. Code comb" check-boxes are all checked for all load-cases.

Avoidance #2:

1. Select Analyze> Delete Analysis Results> choose all available analysis sections, and press OK button.

2. Select Analyze> All, the program runs the analysis in the background

3. Select Results Grids and / or Output Report to confirm results have been created.

Avoidance #3:

1. Close the model

2. Close the instance of AutoPIPE

3. Manually delete all files including combination files from the model directory and only retain the .dat model file

4. Restart AutoPIPE and re-open your model.

5. Select Analyze> All, the program runs the analysis in the background

6. Select Results Grids and / or Output Report to confirm results have been created.

Avoidance #4:

Note: this solution worked best if error was displayed while trying to view the Stress Summary dialog

1. Open your model

2. Select Load> Static analysis

3. Select Delete All button, and press Yes.

4. Recreate all Load Set as required.

5. When completed, press OK button, and run Analyze All

6.Review, Tool> Combinations> all tabs to be sure combinations are created and are correct per your analysis requirements.

Avoidance #5:

Open the Tools> Combinations dialog, check to be sure that the following combination options are disabled,

"Disable auto Code comb"
"Disable auto NonCode comb"

Also be sure that "Add default Non-Code combination" is checked ON.

After confirming these settings, try to reanalyze the model and review the code combinations / results.

Known issue #2:

The model was analyzed but all analysis sets had errors.

Example: When running an analysis the following appears for all analysis sets...

---------------------------
Error
---------------------------
E801-1: FATAL ERROR : Unstable system. Need support at node AQ01 Dir X
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

In this case the analysis was not completed and when trying to review combination the E90-21 error message will be displayed.

Avoidance

Make modifications to model to prevent E801-1 fatal error message from being displayed during analysis. See WIKI here for detailed suggestions

If the above does not work, complete the following:

If the above does not work, follow procedures to file a service request and send us your model for review.
