How to apply the hydrodynamics load on a plate? As of now the results didn't output the plate forces due to wave & current loadings.
Solution:
Seastate can load plates if the hydrodynamic option is enabled for the plate group with 'HD' in col 35-36 in the PGROV line or in the Plate Group Override dialog. See the snap below, taken from SACS seastate manual.
Column 37-41 in PGROV line refers to Hydrodynamic Drag Coefficient, and the default value is 1.0.
For Launch module, Seastate does not affect Launch analyses as Launch calculates hydrodynamic forces by itself. If you want to generate the plate load due to hydrodynamic forces, you need to activate the PGROV command in sacs input file which shall be used for the launch module. To know how to generate current load in launch module, user can refer section 2.2.13 of SACS Launch Manual.
