Explanation

When you hover over a tool tip for a cogo point (location point) in Civil 3D it displays some information about the point. If you would like to edit the tooltip to show the location ID follow the steps below.

Process

Within Civil 3D, with an OpenGround Cloud project open:

Click Manage tab>Customization panel>User Interface.

When the window opens select "Rollover Tooltips" in the list

Select "Cogo Point" from the second list.

Then in the third column scroll all the way down and turn on HoleBASESI_Group>LocationID.

Save the changes.

Now when you view a tooltip it will show the ID.
