Insufficient memory to read image.
Getting error: Insufficient memory to read image, when importing an
image or saving image .
TIFF image can be Raster Referenced and convert to HMR in Image
Manager.
Product: MicroStation V7
Version: 07.01.00.62
Area: Raster
The image is too large for the system RAM to handle.
(Most likely reason)
Other possible reasons:
Some TIFF images may not conform to the TIFF spec.
Possible solutions:
- Increase Virtual Memory on system.
- Add additional Physical Memory to system.
- Use Raster Reference or Raster Manager.
Notes:
Raster Reference/Manager reads images much more efficiently and uses
memory roughly proportional to image size.
Image import fully un-compresses the image which can be very large and
use a lot of memory.
