How do I insert a diameter symbol in text?
Product: MicroStation
Version: V8
Area: Text
Regarding your question on the diameter symbol, depending on which font you are using, some of the delivered Mstn fonts already contain that symbol. To determine which fonts already have that symbol, simply keyin :MDL LOAD FONTEDIT then pick the font.rsc file you are using (default). Then if you pick the font in the upper right hand corner, you will see the characters available to you in that font.
Once you find a font with the symbol you desire, to place that symbol, you must preceed the decical number with a \ symbol. So in other words if the diameter symbol is character# 78, to place that you would keyin \78 and you will see th
at symbol on your cursor.
