Problem:
"Bentley AutoPIPE Vessel Design and Calculations has stopped working" message appears when running Strength Calculations on a vessel with Vortex Shedding enabled
Why and how to avoid it?
Solution:
The vortex shedding is causing the crash.
Unchecking “Apply Vortex Shedding” will pass the calculation (checked within the “Example with external support.emvd”, not in “Example.emvd”)
Note: the help topic clearly mention that the Vortex Shedding parameters must be defined otherwise the Vortex Shedding is not analyzed.
