The following message dialog appears when trying to reverse a segment.
---------------------------
Reverse Segment
---------------------------
One or more Valve, Reducer or Flex. Joint lie at the end of segment or before a junction.
These will be converted to run. Do you whish to Continue?
---------------------------
Yes No
---------------------------
Why and how to avoid it.
In this case, the piping has a reducer located at the junction between 2 segments (ex. Seg C and D).
If Segment D was reversed, the following message would appear, clicking OK to this would result in the following:
Because of the way a reducer component is encoded in AutoPIPE best to have piping on both sides of a reducer part of the same segment.
On the 2nd segment, insert a new node point (ex. C150) a short distance away from the reducer's small pipe end (ex. C140)
Delete the piping on the 2nd segment from the reducer point to the new node point (ex. C140 to C150)
Make the small end node point the current node point (ex. C140) and insert piping to the new node point created above (ex. C150) thus extended the 1st segment so that piping connected to the reducer are both on the same segment.
When using the reverse segment command on segment D, the warning dialog does not appear and the segment numbering is reversed with no adverse affects to the model.
