Problem

Receiving Error: 9 Saving Sequence when recording animation script.

Product: MicroStation V8 2004 Edition
Version: 08.05.00.64
Area: Visualization

Solution

This means the output can not be saved.

Possible Reasons:

1. The output destination does not exist.

Solution: check the path or rebrowse to the location.

2. The output destination is read-only or lack permissions.

Solution: Get permissions (from site administrator) to write to destination folder.

3. When setting the name of the output file, the correct about of  "place holder" zeros was not used.

Solution: Rename the output file name to include the correct about of
place holder zeros.

Example: For a 300 frame animation the file name should be "framename000.jpg" (or the extension associated with the desired format).
