Can I use the same license with each version of AutoPIPE, or Does the cost of an AutoPIPE license change with the version?

Q1. Can I use the same license or do I need to get a different licenses?
example: Using AutoPIPE XM v.8.6 Standard edition and AutoPIPE CONNECT v.10.01. Standard edition,
ANSWER:
AutoPIPE programs are Licensed by SELECTserver XM license architecture. This type of architecture is capable of licensing all versions of AutoPIPE with the exception of AutoPIPE 6.x which requires a software key. In regards to AutoPIPE 8.5 to 8.6 these programs need to use Bentley Gateway in addition to the Bentley SELECTserver. AutoPIPE 8.9 and higher just requires the user to have a valid AutoPIPE license available in LMT in order to use the appropriate edition of the program (i.e. Standard, PLUS, Advance, or Nuclear
In short, the same XM license works on AutoPIPE 8.5 to the present version providing that the same Edition is selected inside all programs.
To put it another way, there is no difference in licensing, as this is just a newer version of the software. Another words there is no cost or additional license required when using the same edition in different versions.

After reading the answer to Q1. above, the answer here is easy.
AutoPIPE Standard edition needs to have an AutoPIPE Standard license available in LMT, This will license version 8.5 to present.
If the user has AutoPIPE Advance edition the user will need to have an AutoPIPE Advance license available in LMT, This will license version 8.5 to present
Furthermore, if a user has AutoPIPE Nuclear edition the user will need to have an AutoPIPE Nuclear license available in LMT. This will license version 9.1 to present
Q3. How does the cost of a license change over time between both editions and versions?
ANSWER:
Please contact your Bentley Account Manager or Sales Rep. They will be able to provide a cost difference between the 3 different editions of AutoPIPE (i.e. Standard, Advance, Nuclear).
Again, so long as you have an available AutoPIPE edition license available in LMT, you are able to use multiple different versions of the program with no extra charges.
