How to add user defined Flange Pressure data for ANSI Check analysis method in AutoPIPE's Flange Analysis module?
See the following Steps below for use in AutoPIPE V8i 09.06.02.xx and lower:
1. First need to input the ANSI Check Pressure data by pressing the "User Pmax" button in the lower Right hand corner of the dialog, shown below:
2. The “ANSI Check Pressure Data” dialog should have appeared. At this point, a. defined Table Name, b. Flange Rating / Class write “NS” or user defined (i.e. 63), c. enter Temp / Press data (the graph will automatically update base on data entered, d. Press the SAVE button,
the following dialog should appear:
Press OK button to continue.
Finally, e. press the OK button to accept the data and to continue.
3. Now back to ANSI Check grid, as needed for each flange Point Name on the grid (on the corresponding row) press “Select” button in the "User Pmax" column, shown below:
4. After the ANSI Check Pressure Data dialog appears, select a Table name from those available in the drop down listing and Press Select button to continue.
Note:
a. This dialog only allows the user to select an existing User defined Table Name of Temp / Press data.
b. If the drop down listing is blank or does not contain the proper data, must first enter or modify the Temp / Press data using the previous steps outline above, go back to STEP #2 above.
5. continue to input information on the ANSI Check Flange dialog as needed and then analyze command before reviewing the results.
