Quantity Progress |

Rate Code |
The monetary value of the Usage. The standard is "Normal", but others can be configured Rate Codes are used to provide more information about, and to give context for, a given Rate. For example, a small crane may be leased from a company at a cost of $150 per hour. However, the company may also lease the crane with an operator at a cost of $200 per hour. In this case, Rate Codes (such as the term 'Dry Hire' for a machine without the operator, and 'Wet Hire' for a machine with the operator) explain why the Rate may be different for the same crane in different circumstances. Rate Codes can also apply to any hours worked overtime or on public holidays. For example, if a person works a normal eight-hour shift, their Rate Code may be 'Normal'. If a person works a shift outside of normal business hours, their Rate Code may be 'Normal × 1.5', and if they work on a public holiday, their Rate Code may be 'Normal × 2'. In this way, though the same amount of time is worked in each case, the Rate Codes show why the Rates may differ. |
Timesheets/timecards and Usage Daily cost and production |
Rates |
Rates are the amount of money People, Equipment, and Other Resources are worth for a set amount of Usage. This is expressed as '$/Unit of Measure'. For example, if a small crane costs $150 per hour to operate, its Rate is $150/hour. Rates fall into three categories: Cost Value, Sell Value and Dayworks Value |
