Update Events


Events are unplanned circumstances that arise while completing planned work (Activities).
Events can be edited and updated as they progress to create the most up-to-date record.

  1. To update an Event, click on Events > All Events.
  2. To search for an Event, filter as needed, then click on the Event.
  3. Select the Open, Started, Paused, Finished and Closed boxes to ensure no Events are missed when filtering.
  4. Set the status by clicking Start, Stop, Pause, or Finish.
  5. Click Choose File to attach documents or photos.

  6. Write updates in Comments, and click Save Comment to add files and comments to the Event.
  7. All comments and attachments are shown in the Timeline below the Comments section.
  8. Add Owners and Notifiable Users as needed.
  9. To edit the Event itself, click Edit Event in the task bar.
  10. Make changes as needed, then click Update Event.
  11. To download a PDF of the Event, click   Detailed Report in the task bar, then click on the download link that appears.
