Data from SYNCHRO Perform can be exported in a format suitable for update into planning tools, including Primavera P6.* Data exported from third-party programs can also be combined with SYNCHRO Perform data to present a more complete view of a project’s progress.
- In the P6 schedule, click on File > Export.

- In the Export Format window, click on Spreadsheet - (XLS), then click Next.
- In the Export Type window, select Activities, Activity Relationships, Resources, and Resource Assignments, then click Next.
- Select the Export button in the Projects to Export window, then click Next.
- Select the Standard Template in the Select Template window, then click Modify.
- In the Modify window, select the Columns tab, select every option in Available Options, click Okay, then click Next.
- In the Select XLS File window, give a name and save location to the file, then click Next.
This exports the file as an Excel spreadsheet, save this to the computer. -
Click on Reports > Progress.

- Select a date in the From Date section, click on Generate, then click on the download link that appears.
- This exports a spreadsheet of the data; save the file, then upload it to P6 (or any other programs) as needed
Now that the data has been combined from P6 and SYNCHRO Perform, it will need to be reimported.
- In P6, click on File > Import.

- In the Import window, select Activities, Activity Relationships, Resources, and Resource Assignments, then click Next.
- In the Import Project Options window, select the same file the spreadsheet was exported from at the top of this article then click Next and Finish.
The new data will now be uploaded to P6. - To finalise the process, click on the
icon, then click on Current Data Date. - Select the current date from the calendar window, then click Select.
*Primavera P6 is an Oracle product.
Bentley does not offer support for Primavera P6, or any other third-party software programs. Any issues encountered when uploading SYNCHRO Perform data to a third-party program should be resolved with the third party.
