What to expect when starting AutoPIPE CONNECT v.12.xx.xx.xx?
1. Start AutoPIPE by double clicking on the desktop icon or from the Start Menu> Bentley Engineering> AutoPIPE CONNECT
2. The following windows will now appear on screen:
a. AutoPIPE application window:
Question: What does (Undefined) mean at the top of the application window when the program has been started?
Answer: Means that the current model name is undefined or has not been saved. The filename of the model will appear inside of the parenthesis "( )" ultimately replacing the word Undefined.
b. Input grids window:
c. Welcome to AutoPIPE Licensing (default setting = Demo), press OK to close this dialog.
d. +++Important+++ Sign into Bentley CONNECTION Client - click here.
e. Reopen "Welcome to AutoPIPE Licensing" dialog by selecting File> Configuration.
f. Indicate the radio button in front of the AutoPIPE edition to be used (i.e Standard, Advanced, or Nuclear)

Suggest to contact your Bentley On-site Admin to know exactly what edition of the software is apart of your contract and if any restrictions are in place to reduce over-usage.
press OK button, to continue.
g. After the configuration dialog has closed, the application will look at BLT (Bentley License Tool), to check available license for the product selected. Pending any problems with being signed in or restrictions put in place by Bentley On-Site Admins, the application will be licensed and ready to be use.
Note: To verify the application has a valid license, the top application bar will have one of the following:
HOWEVER, if a valid license was not available, the application will revert to DEMO mode, as indicated above:
