Subcontractor Users (Web)


Add Share (Subcontractor) Companies

Share (Subcontractor) Companies are added to enable Subcontractor Users to be associated with a project, and for Activities and Events to be assigned to Subcontractor Companies.

  1. Click Resources > Companies.
  2. To add a new Share (Subcontractor) Company, click Companies, then   Companies.
  3. Search for a company’s name in the Company box, then select their name from the list.
  4. If a company is not found, click (Add a new company), then enter the Company Name (required).
  5. Enter a Description, ABN, Supplier Reference Number, and Email as needed.
  6. Click Create Company.
  7. Click on the   icon to edit the Share (Subcontractor) Company.
  8. Click on “nn items” link to view Shared Work.
  9. Click the   icon to Unshare individual Activities or Events from the Share (Subcontractor) Company.

Add Subcontractor Users

Subcontractor Users can be added and are associated to a Subcontractor Company. All Subcontractor Users associated with a company have access to the Activities and Events assigned to the Subcontractor Company.

  1. Click Resources > Companies.
  2. To add a new subcontractor, click Company Users, then   Add Company User.
  3. Search for a person’s name in the Person box, then select their name from the list.
  4. If a person is not found, select (Add a new person).
  5. Enter their Given and Family names, Username, Email, and Role (required), and upload a profile picture as needed.
    • The only Roles available to Subcontractors are Subcontractor Package and Subcontractor Supply*.
  6. Click Invite User to send an email invite to the subcontractor.
  7. An activation email is sent from notifications@e7.site; the User must activate this account within 7  days.
  8. If multiple emails are received, select the most recent.

Edit Subcontractor Users

Once a Subcontractor User is created, their account can be activated or deactivated, added or removed from projects, and their various details viewed and edited.*

  1. Click Resources > Companies > Company Users.
  2. Use the Search box to find a subcontractor, or select one from the list.
  3. Click on a subcontractor’s Name (Username) to edit their details, add them to projects, or reset their password.
  4. Save changes by clicking Update User.
    These icons enable these actions:
        -   View Person
        -   Edit User
        -   Activate User
        -   Deactivate User
         -   Add Person to Project 
        -   Remove Person from Project
