Cost Analytics

Cost Analytics is a pivot table-style tool for detailed analysis of Resource Usage data. Once a date range is set, data can be analysed by dragging and dropping fields from the left column to the right, or to the table header.

  1. Click on Reports > Cost Analytics.
  2. Set a date range, then click Generate.
This will generate a table of all recorded costs during this period.
  3. To change the display, select a display format from the dropdown list at the top of the left column.
For example, the data can be displayed as a table, heatmap, bar chart, and more, depending on the selection.
  4. The dropdown lists in the right column determines what data is displayed.
  5. Select from the lists to choose data types, such as ‘Average’ and ‘Break Duration’, or ‘Sum’ and ‘Usage Quantity’, etc.
  6. Drag a parameter from the left column to the right column to include this data in the table, or drag the parameter from the right column to the left column to remove this data.

The order of the parameters in the right column affects how the data is displayed; higher parameters are displayed first.
  7. Click the arrow at the end of each parameter to open its filter window.
  8. Select or deselect filters to filter what is included in the table, then click Apply.
