Problem:

For ASME ND 2007 Eq. 10a requires that Mc to be range of moments based on loading T1, T2 and T3 …. In the pre-verification does not show if range moments (amb T1,amb T2…T1 toT2 …) are considered for the analysis. Is this range shall be prepared by the uer's ? or to be prepared by the user's - Tools/Stress Summary for eq. 10a: cond1-zero mom., cond2-T1, cond2 T2, cond3 T3 for the range of moments to be considered in the analysis.

Solution:

Correct ranging only occurs in the Full Verification and requires the Stress Summary.

The results from Pre Verification are essentially ranged with zero!
