A Rate Code is a classifier that defines the applicable Rate for a Resource Usage to calculate its cost.
For example, both a 'dry hire' and 'wet hire' Rate could be defined for the same item of Equipment.

1. Click on Settings > Project > Rate Codes.
   
2. To edit an existing Rate Code, click .
3. To add a Rate Code, click Add Rate Code.
4. Enter a name, or edit the existing name, then click either Create Rate Code or Create and Add Another as needed.
   Once a Rate Code is created, it cannot be deleted.

Note: Rate Codes apply across an entire instance; a Rate Code created in one project will be available for use in any other project on this instance.
