Unit of Measure (UoM) is the metric by which a Resource is measured, such as hours, metres or yards, dollars or pounds, etc. UoMs are configured during the initial setup of a project and can be modified or edited at any time.
- Select Settings > Administration > Units of Measure.
- Select Add Unit of Measure.
- Enter the Unit of Measure Name and Symbol.
- Enter any Aliases as needed, these are other variants or abbreviations that may be used on import files.
- Select Create Unit of Measures or Create and Add Another to create additional Units of Measure.
- To edit a Unit of Measure, click on the
icon to the right of any existing Unit of Measure.
- Edit the Name or Symbol or add Aliases and select Update Unit of Measure.
- All current Variants of the Unit of Measure are shown.
- To delete a Unit of Measure , click on the
icon.
If a Unit of Measure has a grey icon, there are existing records associated with the Unit of Measure and it cannot be deleted
