Important changes impacting Users
We've reworked SYNCHRO Perform's share structure. Previously a Company would need to be designated as a Subcontractor or a Client before they were able to have entities shared with them. This is no longer the case and all Companies are now available for sharing.
New / Enhanced Features
- Companies are no longer shared between Projects.
- Companies have moved from the Settings menu to Resources > Companies.
- Activities, Events, Tasks, and Report Templates are now shared directly with Companies. Companies no longer have to be first set up as a Subcontractor or Client.
- Users were previously linked to a single Company for shared access within an instance. Users will now need to be allocated as a Company User so they can view and access shared items; this will need to be set on every Project they are a part of within the instance. This can be done from Resources > Companies > Company Users or from Settings > Administration > Users from the relevant project. Note: Existing Subcontractor/Client users have already been migrated.

- Users with administrator privileges may select any non-Subcontractor Company to become a Client Company.
- Client Companies can be shared with an Activity or Event.

- Client Reviewer Users belong to a Client Company and have access to Activities and Events shared with their Company.
- Attachments and Comments on a Client Shared Activity or Event may be marked with "Shared with client", which gives Client Reviewer Users the ability to view them.

Important changes impacting Users
Over the past few months, we have been progressively rebranding our company and software from “Envision” and “Ennova” to our new name: “E7”. As a part of this rebranding, our “Envision Forms” app on iOS, Android, and Windows will now be known as “E7”.
For those using the E7 Windows app, you may notice the “Envision” desktop shortcut no longer opens after the latest update. This can be resolved by uninstalling and reinstalling the Windows app.
