To fully harness Bentley's suite of applications and services, users must integrate with the Identity Management System (IMS). Importantly, each SYNCHRO Perform project requires a connection to its associated SYNCHRO Control project. As project administrators, it's essential to create the SYNCHRO Control Project and establish these connections to unlock the following benefits:
Unified Services and Features: Linking projects enables users to access shared services and features seamlessly across the entire SYNCHRO ecosystem. Including building Custom Forms in SYNCHRO Field, etc.
Enhanced Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC): In the pipeline are significant improvements to RBAC. This will provide more granular permissions, allowing users to view specific aspects of Perform, make alterations, and gain deeper permissions across SYNCHRO Control.
Precision in Subscription Reporting: Accurately track and report user subscriptions on a quarterly basis. This is especially pivotal when determining numbers and entitlements associated with the diverse products within SYNCHRO.
Remember, SYNCHRO Control comes bundled with your SYNCHRO Perform subscription. Should you encounter any uncertainties or challenges, please consult your Bentley Account Manager for guidance.
