Power BI integration - Add and View


The application will need to be added to any Power BI workspaces that you want to embed in SYNCHRO Perform. This is a once-off configuration for each client project.  (the same credentials may be used for multiple projects; however, users should refer to their IT department for clarification)

Add Power Bi Integration 

  1. Go to Settings > PowerBI > PowerBI Integrations

  2. Select Add PowerBI Integrations

  3. To edit the integration parameters, refer to Authorise SYNCHRO Perform in Azure for details

View Power Bi Integration 

View the integration that has been setup - these are the external entities from Power BI

  1. Select the link in Client ID

  2. The Dataset shows a list of connected SYNCHRO Perform datasets (there may be multiple). The Group ID refers to the workspace

  3. The Reports shows each report embedded from the dataset (refer PowerBI)

  4. Select Edit PowerBI Integration to amend the integration parameters, refer to Authorise SYNCHRO Perform in Azure

  5. To add a new Report from the catalogue set above
