When entering a branch on the tee at AO45. Noticed that Insert_Run with the cursor on the tee point and the branch arrow red, did not open the "Run" dialog. Tried multiple times and tried other unfinished tees. Eventually by clicking on the branch arrow and then clicking on the tee point, the "Run" dialog opened. However after entering the run distance, and hitting "enter" the branch did not appear and instead the "Run" to the tee was relocated the amount of the branch distance
Pay attention to the segment name and node point names in the lower right corner of the application:
Notice when selecting the AO44 branch arrow the Segment name is only AV, while in the right image, the segment name on the branch piping is *AW*,
Question: What does the asterisk around the node point represent / mean (ex. *AW*)?
Answer: Correct! it means that this is the first and Only point on the segment. When there are no asterisks around the node name the segment has more than 1 node point.
To confirm this statement, check to be sure all segments are turned on using one of the options:
Option #1: On the segment tab in the input grids, ensure all Segment check boxes are enabled
Option #2: Use toolbar command "Segments (Show > Show > Segments)"
After turning all segments on, notice in the left image hidden segments no appear at both node points, (AO44 and AO45). Also notice in the right image below now existing branch piping was found hidden (ex. AO64). Thus confirming asterisks around a segment means that the current node point is the first and only node point on the segment.
