Problem:
Why are all codes available when AutoPIPE Vessel licence option was selected? Should it be restricted to just one license?
Solution:
Depends on what license are available in LMT.
Open LMT and select the License Checkout Tab and scroll down the listing to find all AutoPIPE Vessel entries:
What ever codes are shown here will also be a green light on the License Configuration dialog above regardless of license radio button selected (eg. Vessel or Vessel Enterprise). If the radio button for Vessel was selected on the License Configuration dialog, the user must self regulate which Add-on code will be selected within the application or get a Node Lock file with a reduced list of available licenses.
ELS (Enterprise License Subscription) and SOA (Select Open Access) account:
a. Both Vessel and Vessel Enterprise licenses are apart of an these account.
b. When Vessel Enterprise License is selected, all Add-on codes will have a green light meaning the user can select any Add-on code with no additional charges.
c. When Vessel License is selected, all Add-on codes will have a green light meaning the user can select any Add-on code. However, usage will be reported for all individual codes during the time using a Vessel license. The account will be reset / charged / invoiced on their renewal dates for any usage of all individual Add-on codes.
d. SOA are invoiced on a QTL and automatically deducted from the CSS money. However, ELS accounts do not receive QTLs, these accounts will be reset / charged / invoiced on their renewal dates for any usage.
Vessel and Vessel Enterprise licenses on the same account:
a. Both Vessel and Vessel Enterprise licenses are shown on LMT.
b. When Vessel Enterprise License is selected, all Add-on codes will have a green light meaning the user can select any Add-on code with no additional charges.
c. When Vessel License is selected, all Add-on codes will have a green light meaning the user can select any Add-on code. The reason why all lights are green, remember statement above, because all of the Add-on codes are shown in LMT. Thus all lights are green regardless of Vessel or Vessel Enterprise license being selected. In addition, usage will be reported for all Add-on codes during the time using a Vessel license regardless of indicated Add-on code on the account. The account will be invoiced at the end of the month for usage of all individual Add-on codes.
