Problem:

How to check that my license is reporting correctly for an AutoPIPE product?

Solution:

LMT (License Management Tool) has a checking of usage of all product IDs. Therefore to see if usage is being reported by the application perform the following:

Example: Using AutoPIPE Vessel v.40.01.02.01

1. 1. Confirm AutoPIPE version installed, open application Help> About> 8 digit number (40.01.02.01)
  2. Confirm what License edition (Vessel or Vessel Enterprise) of the application being used; check File> License Configuration Dialog.
  3. Close the application
  4. Open LMT and check the logs for product ID's used.

Note: Product ID 2250 = Vessel, where Product ID 2251 = Vessel Enterprise.

If a usage for Product ID = 2251 is recorded, this means that AutoPIPE Vessel Enterprise is reporting usage correctly. The Select Server information is updated automatically at the end of the day or the information can be sent now by pressing keyboard key F9 (send logs now). After the light show has finished, the Select Server will no be updated with the usage reports.
