When compiling a new material library, when using the build command, the DOS window flashes some information and disappears. How can i slow down the flashed information so it can be read by a human?
When creating a new material library best to create a new folder (ex. newlib) directly under the C:> drive directory. Then copy the base *.SRC file and the Build.exe files from the AutoPIPE Library folder to this new folder.
Best method to Compile a new library:
1. Open a CMD window (if unsure, search internet for help)
Note: Do not double click the Build.exe as this method of compiling a new library will only flash information where this procedure will enable the user to clearly read any posted text information. After a little practice, you can choose which method to use in compiling a new library.
2. Change from current folder to the newly created folder (ex. newlib) on the C:> drive
3. Type "Dir", press keyboard Enter key to confirm that build and SRC file are in this library. If not go back to Windows Explorer and copy these 2 files as mentioned above.
4. Type "Build", press keyboard Enter key
5. Type name of SRC file in the folder (ex. autogrpm), press keyboard Enter key
6. The program will now compile a new library file and list any messages clearly for the user to read.
IF everything is OK, copy the newly created *.LIB file into the Program Data Path folder (see AutoPIPE help "Preferences Settings Settings" for details on this path location).
