Problem:

The following is displayed when installing AutoPIPE:

What is causing the issue and how to avoid it?

Solution:

This error message is a system-specific error and can be caused by a system-specific setting. Typically, windows system files maybe damaged. Please see one or more of the following that resolved the issue in the past for other users:

Option #1:

There are known issues for the error to occur if the application is being installed from files located on a mapped Server drive or Virtual drive.

Confirm the software is actually on the local hard drive (prefer a desktop folder location) and is not trying to be installed from a mapped server drive or virtual drive.

Option #2:

Option #3:

Ask the IT department to log on and edit the registry with the following:
