Application requested retry of payload: AutoPipePackageId, encountered error: 0x80070070.

Error 0x80070070: Failed while caching, aborting execution.

Apply complete, result: 0x80070070, restart: None, ba requested restart:  No

OS = WIN7 64 bit

Why does this occur and hod best to avoid it.

Solution:

This error relates to storage on the PC or Laptop in question that you are trying to install Windows onto.

when the computer does not have enough storage space the error code 0x80070070 will appear. Install is trying to create a restore point and could not due to lack of storage space. See readme file for Minimum requirement = (hard disk space) + (Restore Point space requirements).

Suggest the following recommendations:

1. Copy installation file to computer desktop.
2. Confirm there is 2 gigs of computer storage space available.

If the problem still exist then the issue needs to be investigated on user machine. But before we can do that, we will need the preview handler log file which can be copied from temp directory (%temp%). Locate the log file name that starst with "AutoPIPE_Setup" and ends with "PreviewHandlerPackageId", log a Service Request and send in the file for review.
