Problem:

Where to find CADAP.MAP file used by AutoPIPE?

Solution:

The CADAP.MAP file is used by AutoPIPE when importing a PXF file. The file can be manually opened and modified with any text editor application (i.e. Ultra Edit, NotePadd ++, MS word, etc..). Once modifications are completed, save file to the same location.

AutoPIPE V8i 10.xx and higher:

Use one of 2 methods:

1. CADAP map file is located in the user settings directory. Explore it by typing %appdata% in the windows explorer address bar and navigating to AutoPIPE folder in Bentley directory.

C:\ Users\ [username] \ AppData\ Roaming\ Bentley\ AutoPIPE CONNECT\

2. Within AutoPIPE, open Tools> Settings> Preferences>

AutoPIPE V8i 09.xx and lower

CADAP map file is located in the program folder.
