Problem:

The following message appears when starting AutoPIPE:

E131-30: AUTOPIPE.CLR not found message
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

Why? and how to avoid it?

Solution:

AutoPIPE.CLR lists all the piping components along with their Color Information. See the following AutoPIPE help section:

Help > Contents> Contents Tab> Bentley AutoPIPE> Command Reference> Tools & Utility Commands> Settings> Preferences> near the bottom of the document click on "User Settings" hyperlink

User settings in the roaming profile folder contain all the files that can affect an individual user settings for the program....etc..

All the files containing setting are copied from the installation directory to the user profile directory at startup. The files are copied to user profile directory from installation if they are missing or a new version of the files is available in installation directory.

Note: The user settings directory can be explored by typing %appdata% in the windows explorer address bar and navigating to AutoPIPE folder in Bentley directory.

As mentioned in the help, this file should also be located in the installation directory:

Does AutoPIPE Start?

If yes, use “Tools > Settings > Preferences” for resetting user profile. Press “Reset Defaults” on Preference dialog and it will give you options, what you want to reset.

If No, check to see if this file is missing from Appdata folder?

If yes, than close all AutoPIPE sessions, delete folder

"C:\ Users\ mike.dattilio\ AppData\ Roaming\Bentley\ AutoPIPE CONNECT"

Restart AutoPIPE, and the folder that was deleted should have been recreated.

Is the file missing from the installation directory?

If yes, than there was a problem with installing AutoPIPE.

Completely remove AutoPIPE from the computer, reboot the computer, log in with an account that has admin rights, reinstall AutoPIPe, and try to restart the program.
