Problem:

How to export support node points coordinates from AutoPIPE to Excel ?

Solution:

a. Open the model in AutoPIPE

b. Analyze the system

c. View the Results Grid

d. Select the Support Tab

e. Select only one combination on the dialog

f. Select the types of supports on the dialog

g. Highlight the entire grid by selecting the top most left cell in the table, use Cntl + C to copy the contents of the highlighted grid

h. Open MS Excel and paste the contents using Cntl + P

i. Scroll to the last 3 columns on the right, note 3 columns of Global coordinates (X, Y, and Z)

Note: in order to extract the anchor coordinates, perform the same set of steps on the Anchor tab of the results grids.
