How to change dimension text from Normal Font to Isometric Font (angled 30 deg) using AutoPIPE's OPIM?
Example:
Currently the default dimension style governs some aspects like font, font size, gap, color etc. So there should not be differences in font types for the different dimensions.
Placement method:
1. Dimension text will be inserted on 1 of 3 isometric planes (i.e. LEFT, RIGHT & TOP).
2. First the application will determine if there is enough space for text placement between the dimension's extension (witness) lines. This text will be oriented on the same Isometric plane created by the extension and dimension lines.
Another words the text will be rotated +/- 30 deg and obliqued to some degree appear correctly on the associated isometric plane.
3. If there is not enough space for the text between the extension (witness) lines, than the text will be placed above or blow an extended dimension line located outside of the extension (witness) lines.
4. When no space can be found on the dimension line the dimension placement is changed to Stand Out mode. Typically, it would be possible to place all dimensions in standout mode but for an enhancement request will need to be logged by a user.
