The following screen appears when entering in a Inside diameter value in AutoPIPE's Flange Analysis software:
---------------------------
Flange*
---------------------------
The value must be smaller than the inside diameter.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
Why and how to avoid it?
As the dialog indicates the user must enter a value that is less than the outside diameter value.
On Flange Tab, see Outside Diameter and Inside Diameter values for the respective flange.
In this case, note that the out side diameter (11.00 inch) is smaller than the inside diameter (21.5542 in). Thus the warning is displayed.
Enter an Outside diameter that larger than the Inside diameter.
