Problem:
Reduction (W) factors. AutoPIPE does not let me have a reduced weld W factor when the quality E factor is equal to 1. The quality factor (E) is based on 100% radiograph of the initial weld. The reduction faction (W) is based on the weld joint strength over time. These 2 factors should be programmed independent of each other, not dependent on each other. Please let me know why these 2 weld factors cannot be independent in AutoPIPE
Solution:
Please open the Pipe properties dialog and press Help button.
Select the hyper link for "Long Weld W Fact"
