Problem:
How to display a displacement magnitude on plot output?
Solution:
Bentley apologizes for the inconvenience, however at this time AutoPIPE V8i 09.06.00.15 and lower cannot perform this functionality.
Only option available for displacement indication on screen is by selecting Tools> Settings> deflected plot preference, and enable "Show XYZ direction lines on plot".
From the online help:
Enabling this option shall display the XYZ direction elements on the deflection and mode shape plots at every point in the model.
Note:
1. This option is available for all output options, i.e. Screen, Printer, Plotter, etc.
2. No legend is printed on screen as is shown with Results> Stresses.
