Bentley® WinNOZL is a stand-alone, engineering application used for calculating local stresses at nozzle/vessel junctions, trunnion attachment points, clip connections and lug attachments on the vessel shell. Based on well-known engineering design standards like WRC, KHK, API and PD, WinNOZL helps engineers and designers quickly determine whether or not the wall of a pressure vessel, exchanger or tank can withstand piping loads on the nozzle or at clip and lug connections.

WinNOZL is installed from one executable. The license file received from Bentley BAC will initiate your specific application.
WinNOZL - The standard configuration of WinNOZL includes these features:
¦ Internationally recognized design codes:
WRC 107, WRC 297, BS PD5500, API 650 and KHK 1 & 2
¦ Extensive material libraries for ASME VIII Div I, Div II and PD5500, 1998 ASME VIII code case 2290, 2000 ASME I, III & IV, PD5500/enquiry case 91, ASME materials to the PD5500, JIS, KHK
¦ JIS and DIN pipe property library
¦ Shell types: cylindrical, conical, spherical, semielliptical, and torispherical
¦ Nozzle attachment types: hollow or solid round, hollow or solid rectangular
¦ Shell deflections, rotations and stiffness values are calculated for all shell types per PD5500 Annex G for longitudinal, circumferential and radial loadings

With the appropriate privileges you can obtain the software as an electronic file from Web Downloads or the products may be ordered on a personal CD through MySELECT CD. Once you have installed the desired product you will need to complete the product authorization process by obtaining a license file from Bentley.
Network Considerations
Network drives are not supported for the software and data files.
WinNOZL software must be installed on a local client workstation.
WinNOZLdata files (*.NOZ) must have full read/write access and can only be accessed from a local client workstation.
WinNOZL will be licensed based on availability of license in License Management Tool . For more details on licensing refer to readme file or online help.
Program Help:
Detailed feature information may be accessed directly from the calling application by selecting the Help command, or by pressing the Help button from any of the application dialogs. Be sure to explore the program Help for answers to your questions.
Documentation for applications is provided online in the CHM format. These files are accessible from the Help Menu and can be browsed, searched, or printed.
Quick Start guide is a PDF which can be browsed, searched, or printed with the Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Information and how to download a FREE copy of the Adobe Acrobat Reader can be obtained from http://www.adobe.com/.
It is highly recommended that you obtain the latest version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader.
