Problem:

What Analysis Step value should be used on the Time history tab of the Dynamic analysis dialog in AutoPIPE?

Solution:

Suggest using default setting "Automatic", thus letting AutoPIPE to solve the correct time step value needed for the analysis.

Some times the following appears when running an analysis:

Warning

W801-58: Smallest timestep for W1C01N .TIH file =.001392998 <.003152382 .
Consider a smaller user defined(non-automatic) analysis timestep.
This may indicate that modal cut-off frequency is not adequate.
