Why does SAM results appear to be always +ve (positive)?

Help > Contents> Contents Tab> Reference Information> Analysis Considerations> Seismic Anchor Movement Analysis> The following procedure is used to obtain the SAM results.
The last step of this procedure clearly indicates why the results are always +ve (positive) for all SAM results.
In order to include a -ve (negative) SAM case for review, create a user combination and set the scale factor for SAM load case to -1.00, as shown below
