How to model insulated piping using AutoPIPE?

 On the pipe properties dialog:

Enter the following data as needed:

Question: Does the insulation thickness include the total thickness or just one side of the pipe? for example, if I have a 12 inch outside diameter pipe and I enter an insulation thickness of 2 inches, is new outside diameter 14 inches or 16 inches?

Answer: The thickness can also be considered the depth of insulation on one side of the pipe. Another words, the total pipe OD in this example would be 16 inches dia..

Another nice feature in AutoPIPE is the Show insulation option:
