My nozzle's diameters are greater then DN400 (in SI units) and allowable loads (forces and moments) are described by pump vendor. Is it possible in such case to use build in AutoPIPE tool (Rotating Equipment check) to compare my calculated loads with allowables?
So long as the size of your nozzle is with in the code's requirements (see API 610 code for details), this utility can be used.
For AutoPIPE V8i 09.06.00.xx and lower, when an equipment report is generated, AutoPIPE checks the external forces acting on the pump nozzles according to API 610-1995 for each load case. See below an example of the output report showing the calculated forces and moment compared to the code allowables.
