After completing the process of generating an isometric of the AutoPIPE model, the model is ready to view. The isometric drawing will be opened in the default viewer selection on the Settings dialog.
The isometric drawing of the model contains the following sections:
Drawing Frame (Based on Paper Size)
Graphical Plot
Data Table
Custom Annotation
Header
Levels
Different drawing frame files are provided with the program to use based on the selected page size for producing the isometric. You may modify any of these default frames to fit your needs or template from them and create new ones.
The graphical plot is comprised of geometrical components, supports, dimensioning, annotation, north arrow, drawing continuation markers, drawing number and drawing header block.
OpenPlant Isometrics Manager attaches supports in the local coordinate system. Support symbols can either be parallel to the direction of pipe or perpendicular. Vertical supports on an inclined/skewed pipe will not always be aligned to the global vertical axis. Similarly, supports attached to pipe on a skewed direction may not be shown in the correct global direction.
AutoPIPE automatically picks the direction of the north arrow (defined in the Settings dialog via the View > Settings menu command) and uses the north arrow direction set in the Stress Isometrics dialog. You can override this direction if required. Please note that for this to work, the direction of the north arrow defined in the Settings dialog should always be parallel to one of the global axis and should not be a skewed direction.
Data tables are printed on one side of the isometric if selected in the AutoPIPE Isometrics Manager dialog.
Intelligent business data and detailed properties associated with most components and supports are published. The data can be reviewed in the exported Isometric in OpenPlant Isometrics Manager.

Viewing Intelligent Business Data in OPIM
Intelligent business data can be viewed in OpenPlant Isometric Manager using following steps:
Step 1: Open Show Tag dialog from IsoExtractor > Show Tag data and select Show Component Tag as shown in the figure below.
Step 2: After selecting Show Component Tag, click any component or support to view the intelligent data. The figure below shows different types of data for Bend such as flexibility factor, length, radius, type etc.
