07. Why are Stress Isometric Break Points not saved in an AutoPIPE model?

Problem:

Before creating a Stress Isometric mulitple Break Points are defined, as shown below:

However, when the model is closed and re-opened the break point locations have all disappeared:

Why?

Answer:

This is a known issue when a user creates these break points and then closes the model using the X in the upper right corner of the application screen or the Close command, shown below:

   

The proper way of closing AutoPIPE:

1. Select the SAVE button on the tool bar or use File> Save command

2. Then use File> Close or File> Exit command. 

Then when the model is re-opened the Break Points previously defined will still be defined.
