Problem:

Why is the HDPE material allowable 1100 psi in my AutoPIPE model?

Solution:

For a particular model and settings, see the output report, equation number = 3311.3. For additional reference, please see the following AutoPIPE help section: 

Help > Contents> Contents Tab> Reference Information> Code Compliance Calculations> Thermal Stress (HDPE - 2011)> subsection: "Alternate Thermal Expansion or Contraction Evaluation".

The equation is based on 1100 psi.
