Problem:

How to calculate the values for all the calculated values on the AutoPIPE Results Grid> Code Stresses tab> i.e. Stress, Allowable, Pressure, Bending, etc..

Answer:

First try to review the meaning of the Results Grids columns, with the results grids open press the Help button to see detailed information on each column. The grids format changes depending on the code (ex, CSA-Z662, belongs to Group 1).

Here you can see the column descriptions (ex. Pressure = Longitudinal Pressure Stress) and MDB field name (ex. LongPressStress)  when the results are exported to an MDB file.

For detailed code stress calculations mentioned above, please see the following AutoPIPE help section:

Help > Contents> Contents Tab> Reference Information> Code Compliance Calculations> select the piping code as seen on the General Model Options dialog screen> select the category and then load cases.

In addition, these calculations can be affected by settings on the "Edit Model Options" or "Results Model Options" dialogs (example, Longitudinal Pressure Setting can be set to P, A, M, or N; thus calculating significantly different results).

Example: Walkthru.dat (example model installed with AutoPIPE)

Given, the following information:
